Mark, a Nashville & Middle Tennessee native, has deep roots in the area, having grown up in Murfreesboro and now residing in Franklin. His journey in real estate began at a young age when he discovered his talent for identifying investment opportunities and buying and selling properties initially with his father’s help & eventually all on his own. While pursuing his BBA in Finance at MTSU, Mark continued to nurture his passion for real estate.

Seeking a new challenge, Mark shifted his sales career to the medical field, spending 30 years selling cardiac medical devices. This experience honed his negotiation skills and taught him the importance of prioritizing and advocating for his clients throughout complex contract processes. However, Mark eventually realized his true calling lay in the housing market and made the decision to return to his roots, reentering the real estate industry in 2018. He joined forces with Ethan Lanagan to form a highly successful and top-rated team. He now focuses on residential homes, land & development.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mark is a proud descendant of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence of 1775 and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. His passion for history is evident, and he thoroughly enjoys exploring new historical sites and delving into the past. When he's not immersed in real estate or history, you'll likely find Mark sailing along the East Coast or in the Bahamas or possibly casting a line in the Caney Fork River with his three children and golden retriever. His love for Tennessee runs deep, and he firmly believes there's no better place to experience live music than the many outdoor venues or the iconic Ryman Auditorium, where the melodies reverberate off the historic hardwood floors and pews. On Saturdays the Fall you can find him supporting and cheering on the University of Tennessee Volunteers.
